Poème – 2003
Time flies
Time flows
Time lies
But knows
It hesitates
Speeds then slows
Everything fades
Wrinkles and goes.
In no time I’ll vanish
Soon it will be all finished
By and by I’ll be past
Dawn does not last.
Don’t try to play for time
Don’t try to beg, implore
When the Clock’s hands will strike
It won’t give you a second more
Follow the rhythm, be in time
No hope to make up for lost time
There is no rest, no dawdling
It has never been waiting
Time whirls
Time blurs
Life faints
And ends
